Rodavigo opens Delegation in Morocco to serve component firms

The industrial supplies company continues its expansion plan and creates a technical office - It already exceeds 10 million in sales with 44 employees

RodavigoThe industrial supplies company Rodavigo has given a strong boost to its internationalization plan with the opening of a delegation in Morocco to serve the manufacturers of automotive components installed in this country, according to officials responsible for the company. Rodavigo, which has managed to triple its turnover in the last ten years and currently has more than 3.000 customers worldwide, has also created a technical assistance department (oriented to turnkey projects) and makes great effort in digitization in order to improve their competitiveness.

The company has been operating in Morocco for approximately one year, where its main customers are Tier 2 (manufacturers of second level components) that work for the groups Renault in Tangier and soon for PSA in Kénitra, but also supplies industries in other sectors such as steel industry and aeronautics in Casablanca. Rodavigo, with 44 staff members, has also set up a technical office in order to handle with  turnkey projects. "It is no longer a matter of supplying parts, our customers asks us for technical advice," says Nazario Correa Sestelo, CEO of the firm.

Digitization

Rodavigo is an example of how the internet and globalization have opened the doors of the world to SMEs. In just ten years, this family business has gone from distributing its products almost exclusively in the region of Pontevedra to having loyal customers in Mexico, the United States, Morocco, Northern Europe and Asia, for example. In this sense, the firm - which has its headquarters in Mos- continues betting on the total digitization of its activities (no paper policy) in order to improve its competitiveness, as well as on transportation and logistics.
