A Future with more Training, New Facilities and another ARDÁN

In recent years, we have been immersed in a growth process that will continue in 2023. And it is that we are not only going to carry out a new specialized training course with a commitment to hire, but we are also going to move to a new facilities from where we can offer a better service. As if that were not enough, we have also achieved a new 2022 Well Managed Company ARDÁN Indicator.

Training course in Commercial Sales Management

This is not the first time that we have launched specialized training initiatives to incorporate new talent into our workforce. This experience began in 2018, with the help of the Department of Economy, Emprego and Industry and with the collaboration of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Mos. A program adapted to the needs of commercial sales management was designed for ten people, of which nine of them were successfully hired. We repeated the experience at the beginning of this year, with the same result, and with which we analyzed the importance of training new talents in the industry.

As on previous occasions, we have received the support of the Ministry of Employment and Equality with the granting of a subsidy to carry out this training action. It is registered in the SEPE State Catalog of Training Specialties and is subject to a commitment to hire unemployed people, who are registered with the Public Employment Services.

The theoretical-practical course for Commercial Sales Manager in the Industrial Sector will last 130 hours. It will start on January 16 and end on February 20 of next year.

The functions of this job are aimed at managing more than 500 requests for daily offers of all kinds of components of the industrial supply, requested by more than 30,000 clients spread all over the planet. Its about:

  • Request offers from suppliers and/or manufacturers.
  • Evaluate prices, discounts and delivery times to make budgets for customers.
  • Manage the transportation of purchases and sales to customers throughout the world.
  • Manage product guarantees, as well as resolve non-conformities.

Although the training course is aimed at forming part of our internal sales team, the reality is that the Rodavigo family is getting bigger and bigger in all its departments.

With more than 4 million references on our website and exporting products to more than 125 countries, it is increasingly necessary to incorporate new talent that can be trained and gain experience to offer the best service to customers.

n order to be as comfortable as possible and to continue with the growth reported by our sales, which this year will reach 17 million euros, we have acquired a 4,000 m2 industrial warehouse in the Technology Park and Logistics of Vigo. We count on making the transfer to what will be our new home in the near future.

New ARDÁN Indicator of a 2022 Well Managed Company

We are celebrating. And the reason is very simple: we have obtained the ARDÁN indicator for Well Managed Company 2022. It is the third time we have achieved it, so it joins the other two that we achieved in 2021 and in 2017. One more objective fulfilled that already forms part of our history of awards and recognitions.

In this edition, only 4% of the more than 35,000 Galician companies analyzed achieved this recognition. It is a demonstration of the demand that exists to exceed the established requirements. But what exactly does this indicator consist of? What is it that puts value? We find out below.

The ARDÁN indicator for a Well Managed Company is a recognition granted by the Vigo Free Trade Zone Consortium that assesses growth in income, profitability, productivity and liquidity. Said parameters must be above the average of the sector in which it operates for three consecutive years.

None of the values ​​studied is sufficient individually to measure the performance of a company. However, as a whole they do have sufficient cohesion to assess this issue. These aspects are the following:
