We have had the honor of receiving the award for Business Excellence in Galicia 2021. The Vigo Free Zone Consortium resumed the ARDÁN Awards ceremony, an event in which recognition is given to the 12 Galician companies that have obtained six, five or four indicators. For the third consecutive year we have achieved this prestigious recognition, since on this occasion we have achieved 5 ARDÁN indicators.
How are the ARDÁN Indicators Classified?
ARDÁN Indicators are classified into two groups. And although there are 10 in total, it is not easy to get one. Of the 33,750 companies analyzed, only 4.81% have achieved one.
The first group is focused on the economic-financial results, such as the growth of operating income, the levels of economic profitability or the creation of EVA. Next, we cite the recognitions that belong to this classification, those that we have obtained being in bold:
The second group focuses on measuring the performance of companies in factors such as innovation, presence in international markets, the circular economy, equal opportunities or policies towards company personnel. The ARDÁN Indicators that belong to this list, marking in bold those that we have achieved, are:

How many Companies Achieve the Award for Business Excellence?
To achieve this recognition, it is necessary to have achieved 4 or more ARDÁN Indicators in a year. If before we talked about the difficulty of obtaining at least one, the list of companies that have achieved such an amount is further reduced. Of the 1,625 Galician companies that have achieved at least one ARDÁN Indicator, only 13 of them have achieved 4 or more.
This group can be further reduced if we reach the number of 5 ARDÁN Indicators, which are the ones we have earned in 2021. There are only 6 companies, including us, that have achieved this amount or more.
The Record that Only Belongs to Rodavigo
The reason why we are especially excited to have achieved this recognition in 2021 is not only because we have achieved it with a total of 5 ARDÁN Indicators, the record that we have already mentioned above. The main reason is that we are the only company that has achieved the Business Excellence Award for 3 consecutive years.
This means that it not only reflects the effort made during a single specific year, but also demonstrates that there is a long-term constancy of obtaining results. It is the continuous search to improve the service to our customers, to streamline work processes and communication with our manufacturers and suppliers or to incorporate new technologies and talent into the company that makes us continue to grow.
We thank the Vigo Free Zone Consortium, as well as the State delegate in the Free Zone, David Regades, for organizing these awards and this event. In the same way, we also thank all the people who have collaborated with us and who have helped us to continue growing.
