2024: A Year of Innovation and Growth for Rodavigo

This year has been a journey full of goals accomplished, but also of great challenges.

The most difficult moment was the departure of our beloved CEO and founder, Nazario Correa Rodríguez. His vision, leadership and passion were fundamental to the growth and success of our company.

Although his absence is deeply felt, we are left with the phrase that his son Nazario preached, «don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened…», we remain committed to his legacy and working together to move forward with the same dedication that he inspired us.

Despite this great loss, we have moved forward, growing and adapting to an ever-changing world.

This summary not only allows us to highlight those goals and projects achieved, but is also a token of gratitude to all those in our team for their dedication and effort.

We would also like to thank our customers, manufacturers and suppliers for their continuous support and collaboration.

What’s new in 2024

We have more than 4.42 M references on our website, of which 1.23 M are priced, 456,000 are in stock and 2.88 M have documentation, enabling us to offer 374 digital catalogues. Our range of products is expanding every day.

Our references cover a total of 6,695 different brands.

We reached more than 3M URLs indexed in our domain.

We continue to update and add new PDF catalogues, in order to provide our customers with as much information as possible. We currently have 324 manufacturer catalogues.

We distribute to more than 8,800 customers and are present in all the autonomous communities of Spain, with the exception of Ceuta, as well as in 114 different countries.

We continue to grow our list of suppliers, manufacturers, customers and transport companies that join our API system.

We have improved our search engine for orders, offers and delivery notes, making it easier for our customers to locate references.

We have incorporated new work tools that help us to speed up our daily processes, such as GPT Chat, Claude, Gemini, Copilot…

We implement improvements in the ERP, which allows us to optimise both the purchasing and sales processes.

We have two logistics warehouses, which facilitates distribution and ensures that our supply chain runs smoothly.

We have expanded our team with the aim of offering opportunities to those people who are starting their professional careers, offering internships and scholarships. In addition, we continue our collaboration with the Down Vigo Association, with 3 members in our team, with the mission of building a diverse and inclusive work environment.

We visited the Bilbao Fair, BIEMH, renowned for its level of innovation and technology; as well as the Madrid Fair, METALMADRID, which stands out in the field of manufacturing, machining and metal processing. All this, with the aim of continuing to learn about the latest developments in the sector and to guarantee our customers a wide range of possibilities according to their needs.

We were at the AEMOS gala dinner to celebrate 30 years of support for business development in our region.

We had important visits such as that of Abel Caballero, Mayor of Vigo, and Pablo Fernández, Secretary General of Employment and Labour Relations of the Xunta de Galicia, where they were able to visit our facilities.

We participated in the IV Marcha contra o Cancro, organised by the Asociación Española contra el Cáncer in the province of Pontevedra and we continue to collaborate with the local branch in Redondela.

We remain committed to the values that sport instils in us, so we collaborate with different clubs and associations, such as Club SAR Balonmano, CCD Cesantes-Rodavigo, Asociación Deportiva CAR, Redondela FS, CCR Chapela, Club Baloncesto Redondela, Treboada FC San Salvador de Teis and the Campeonato Rías Baixas Slot.
