Imagine that you want to surprise the Christmas spirit. You are already equipped (literally and figuratively) with all the necessary ingredients for this time of year, such as hope and optimism. You’re waiting, Christmas hat in tow, for him to make his stellar appearance. “You’re not going to beat me this time”, you think. You wait and wait and wait… and he doesn’t show up. Where has the Christmas spirit gone?
We tell you how we had to rescue it (believe it or not) in order to wish you all a merry Christmas, happy holidays and a happy new year.
In search of the lost Christmas spirit
With the Christmas spirit missing, we couldn’t just sit back and do nothing. We formed a search team, led by our head of F+C (Festivities and Celebrations). As a precaution, the whole group was dressed in safety clothing. We even carried tools of all kinds because you never know what you might need. But the guidelines were clear and concise: locate and rescue our target.
The search was exhaustive. After clearing all the departments in the warehouse, we went into the storeroom. The fact that everything was well sorted and labelled helped to guide us and not to retrace our steps. It was then that we heard some small noises. We moved closer to the source of the sound… and there he was. Fumbling through boxes in the electrical section. “I got stuck looking for the best wire to light up Christmas!” he argued.
The celebration: Christmas is safe
Goal accomplished. The Christmas spirit thanked us for the help, and why not say it, he was also surprised to see that he had little work left to do. We pledged to maintain the same enthusiasm for next year.
And with this little story (totally true), we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people and entities that have collaborated with us during this 2023. We are sure that we will continue to achieve new goals together.
