Equivalent load in all 4 directions. Each row of balls is at a 45 degree contact angle. In this way, the maximum allowable load of the inner block is uniform when loads are applied to the inner block, in all four directions (radial, reverse radial and lateral). As a result, Model KR can be used in any mounting orientation.

High accuracy. Because the linear guide section is composed of 4 rows of circular arc grooves, which allow the balls to move evenly even when preloads are applied, a highly rigid, play-free guide is obtained. In addition, the variation in resistance caused by friction generated by load fluctuation is minimized, and thus, the system can continue a high-precision movement.

High rigidity. Using an outer rail with a U cross section increases stiffness with respect to moment and torsion.

The THK ball screw has a high efficiency due to the fact that the balls rotate between the screw axis. Its required driving torque is only one-third that of a conventional sliding spindle.
